Virtual Gift API enables merchants to create persistent gift card storefronts. The web pages remain active and can be used by multiple customers over time. Unlike single-use payment requests, gift card pages are designed to be permanent points of sale for virtual gift cards. **Key Features** 1. Create branded gift card purchase pages 2. Support multiple payment methods (Credit/Debit, ACH) with Apple Pay and Google Pay support for card payments 3. Three delivery options: Email, SMS, or Print (for hand delivery) 4. "} ::: ## URLs | **Type** | **URL** | | ------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | | Certification | `https://paylink-cert.dcap.com/api/v1/giftcard` | | Production | `https://paylink.dcap.com/api/v1/giftcard` | ## Authorization The authorization is the same as `V2` Pay API. which consists of Basic Authorization on all endpoints as `Authorization: Basic BASE64(eCommerceMID:ApiKey)` API Key acquired via the endpoint [`/AcquireInitialApiKey`](#) and rotated via the endpoint [`/AcquireApiKey`](#). All Gift Card API requests require HTTP Basic Authentication using your Datacap merchant credentials. Refer to [Pay API Authorization](docId\:BTC4M25D3m2uHbaLHTJPx) for more info. **Important Note:** The merchant must be authorized to issue gift cards.
