Datacap is a hardware and processor-agnostic payments gateway and middleware provider: you integrate once, and your point of sale inherits our library of certified devices and backend processors. This section covers the payments APIs most partners start with: grouped by where the payment happens.
Each product page covers what the API does, how it works, supported functions and devices, and how to get access.
In-store payments (card present)
DC Direct™DC Direct™
Any POS platform · HTTP/HTTPS POST · no Datacap software in store
A semi-integrated solution that embeds the payments logic in the payment device itself, so the device talks directly to NETePay Hosted™: your POS just sends an HTTP POST. DC Direct is available in both semi-integrated and standalone modes.
Use it when you want the lightest possible integration, no in-store Datacap hardware or software, and freedom to build in any language or OS that can make an HTTP request.
dsiEMVAndroid™dsiEMVAndroid™
Android · .aar library (API level 23+) · cloud-connected
An Android library that talks directly to NETePay Hosted™ over the device's own IP stack, with no in-store NETePay application required. Supports both on-pad apps (running on an Android terminal) and off-pad apps (running on a phone or tablet paired to an external EMV device over Bluetooth LE, USB, or IP).
Use it when you're building an Android POS app — on the terminal itself or on a separate device.
SureTap™ SoftPOSSureTap™ SoftPOS
Android · NFC-enabled device, no dedicated hardware
Datacap's bring-your-own-device SoftPOS solution turns an NFC-enabled Android device into a payment terminal, accepting Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, and contactless cards through the device's built-in NFC reader. Runs semi-integrated or standalone, and is available to test in our sandbox.
Use it when a merchant needs tap-to-pay acceptance without buying terminals.

An Apple framework that connects directly to NETePay Hosted™ and controls an approved EMV device over Bluetooth LE or IP. No transaction storage on the device: logging and transaction management happen at NETePay Hosted.
Use it when you're building an iOS or iPadOS point of sale paired with an external EMV PIN pad.

Windows · ActiveX control · in-store NETePay™ server · U.S.
A Windows ActiveX control that lets your application act as a client to Datacap's U.S. EMV-certified NETePay servers in a multi-tiered client-server architecture.
Use it when you're integrating a Windows point of sale in the U.S. and running in-store or enterprise NETePay servers.

The Canadian counterpart to dsiEMVUS: the same Windows client-server model, certified for Canadian processing.
Use it when you're deploying a Windows point of sale in Canada.

Datacap's RESTful payments API, built on standard HTTP methods and a resource-oriented design. Handles eCommerce credit, ACH, gift, and other card-not-present transactions.

A Datacap-hosted, white-labeled payment page for web checkout. Payment data is handled entirely by Datacap's secure infrastructure, with support for credit/debit, ACH, and gift, plus webhook notifications when a payment completes.
Use it when you want a branded checkout on your site while keeping cardholder data — and PCI scope — out of your application.
